We switched to Pro DC, and now when I scan multiple documents through the document feeder, it only scans the first page. Using HP Officejet Pro 8610.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for highlighting this to us.

Please confirm the current version of Acrobat and OS you are working with? This issue was highlighted earlier but later was resolved with Acrobat's release patch. Have you started experiencing this behavior after making any changes?

1- Check for Acrobat's update. Open Acrobat>help>check for update

2- Try with a different file

3- Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed.

4- Does it (printer) work fine with other file formats when scanned?

Let us know more about it.

Thanks,

Akanchha

HI Akanchha,

1. Adobe Acrobat DC (22.001.20142)

2. I have and it did not work.

3. Just checked and also updated to the latest.

4. I have not tried to scan files on a different format.

Thanks for the details.

Please try the following steps to see if that helps:

1- Open Acrobat>Help>Run "Repair Installation"

2- If it still doesn't help, then use this cleaner tool for the removal of the app: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html and do a fresh install: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Thanks,

Akanchha

I'm sorry, but it still did not work. Steps I take.

  • Select Scan & OCR
  • Scan Document
  • "paper Source" switch it to Document Feeder (It always comes up Flatbed and it never used to)

Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

  • Select Scan and only scans the first page, nothing else.

I just got a new printer (HP OFFICEJET PRO 9015E) Still have the same problem with OCR scanning a single page and not multiple pages.

LATEST

Hi Matt,

I apologize for the delay in response to your last post.

Acrobat and Reader official update (22.001.20169 ) is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates>reboot Acrobat

More information about this release is here: Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

Try installing the latest patch. If it still doesn't work, then

Please take a screenshot of the scanner setting, when you use Scan & OCR for Document Feeder. Or, it would be super-helpful if you can share the screen-recording of your entire workflow.

Thanks,

Akanchha
