Scanning so that documents are top side up

New Here ,
Oct 02, 2018 Oct 02, 2018

We have Adobe Acrobat 9.  Prior to last week, when we scanned documents using a Fijitsu scanner, Acrobat would automatically rotate each scanned page so that it was top side up.  This would happen even if we scanned a bunch of pages at once, some of which were rotated left, some rotated right, and other top side up.  Now, documents are oriented as they are scanned.  Is there a setting that somehow got changed with a software update that we can change back?

This might be because of any setting changed from your scans. Try scanning with default settings.

There is no update in last few years for Acrobat 9 as Acrobat Pro 9 is already declared as End of support product, End of Support means that Adobe no longer provides technical support or distributes runtimes. This policy affects product and security updates for all derivatives of a product or product version (localized versions, minor upgrades, operating systems, dot and double-dot releases, and connector products).

I suggest you please use the trial version of the latest Acrobat DC- https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.html.

Thanks.

I haven't seen Acrobat 9 in quite a while, but if I remember correctly, you'll want to find the 'Optimize Scanned PDF' settings and see if you can turn on the feature from there.

I hope this is helpful.

My best,

Dave

Hi kideyedoc  Acrobat 9 is not supported now.

I would suggest you to upgrade to  Adobe Acrobat DC | Adobe Document Cloud

Regards,

Mohit Kumar
