Hello!

I would like to know if there is a way to make a script that replace a language that is attributed in any balise by another language.

The problem is that I am typesetting a science book in Indesign which must be an accessible pdf at the end. There are a lot of Latin words and Indesign doesn’t have the Latin language, so I can’t attribute that language to all those scientific names. So I would have to do it manually by finding and opennig each tags with scientific names to change the language.

But if I could, in Indesign, assign, for example, the Italian language to these words and once exported to pdf, a script in Acrobat could change, in the tags, the Italian language for Latin (la-Latn) that would be wonderful 🙂

THanks!

No, a script can't do that.
