Hey gang,

I have to create technical illustrations that are fully text searchable when converted to PDF. I start in Illustrator and print to PDF. The object in question is a circuit breaker panel with fifty or sixty circuit breakers on it. Each circuit breaker is labeled with its value as well as descriptive text. There is no problem converting to PDF; however, when I search for the circuit breaker value, Acrobat highlights multiple instances rather than one at a time. This is only some of the labels; others are highlighted one at a time. For example, searching for "5" highlights anywhere from 2 to 12 labels at one time depending on the area of the document (see below).

TL; DR -- Search highlights multiple items at once instead of one at a time.  Wat do?
