Send attachment from Adobe Acrobat Pro not working

When I attempt to send a PDF as attachment I get the error message;

No default email - client available. ....

I have Outlook set as the default email program.

What else should Adobe acrobat pro need in order to send a PDF as attachment?

You should update Acrobat. The latest 11.x version available is 11.0.23.
