Hi
When I send a adobe pdf file as email attachment using the "icon" in Adobe DC I always gets a message in the draft folder plus one message in the sent folder.
The Outlook version is Outlook 2010. We have tried reinstall Adobe DC but its still the same. Do anyone know why this is happening?.
regards
Carina

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.
As per your description above, when you send a PDF as an attachment using the Adobe application, it creates a draft message even if an email is sent.
Could you please share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine? If you are using Outlook, share the version details, and build number.
It would be helpful if you can share the video of the issue occurring at our end to better understanding.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi
This is also happening to me. I am on Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 20.013.20064 using Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.13328.20350) 64-bit.
The problem started a few weeks ago and may be related to a Windows Critical Update.
I have three email profiles in Outlook. The default one is under "Personal Folders" and works fine with Adobe. However, if I send an email using the envelope icon in an open pdf and then send the email from one of the other two profiles, a copy goes into the Sent Items of the profile and a copy also goes into the Drafts folder in the Personal Folders profile. One of the email profiles is Microsoft Exchange and the other a POP email account. Whilst this isn't an earth shattering issue it certainly wastes alot of my time cleaning out the copy emails from the Drafts folder, which I use regularly for emails I'm not ready to send yet. Hopefully the above information will help resolve the issue for everyone affected.

No response yet I'm afraid. I've tried changing "save to drafts" settings in the profiles but it doesn't stop it happening. Hopefully Adobe will be able to look through the changes in the last Windows critical update to see how it changed the save settings for profiles other than in Personal Folders. I suspect that is where the problem is as this started after I installed the update.

I have a user that have precise the same issue, Press the e-mail icon from Adobe, Outlook popup and if I change the sender e-mail address and press send, there will be a draft of the e-mail in the user personal e-mail draft folder and 1 in the sender e-mail sent folder. This has been an issue the last couple of weeks

I have a client with the exact same issue. Driving them nuts!! Any resolution to this? I've contacted both Microsoft and Adobe support and they keep pointing their fingers at each other, but neither offer any suggestions

After a few other tests I believe this is a Microsoft issue and not an Adobe issue.
Windows own "Send To -> Mail recipient" does the same, even with other files then pdf.
Have any other created a topic at Microsoft, please add link

Hi Meenakshi
I get the same problem when i attach a pdf in outlook. It asks if i want to send as a pdf cloud link, which i say no, but it creates a draft copy in the Draft folder, but sends it as well. It means that i have to continuously clean out my draft folder.. I send quite a few emails with pdf attachments each day.

Outlook is a Microsoft product. Adobe Acrobat is not involved in managing draft and send folders in Outlook. You need to ask in Microsoft's forum.
