Serial Number Validation

New Here ,
Feb 06, 2022 Feb 06, 2022

I lost my 2015 Acrobat XI Standard due to computer crash. I just re loaded it seems all good but at end of set up im asked to;

 "Please connect to internet to validate your serial number. you must do this within 30 days or your software will stop working".the next windows says;

"Please connect to the internet and retry.

Your computer appears to be offline. An internet connection is req etc etc"

well i am connected to net, thats how i downloaded it, and beside that my serial number is displayed in my product list in my account so adobe already knows it. its been there since 2015.

do i just ignore this? it apperas acrobat downloaded sucessfully.

Regards

Mark

Acrobat XI is an old and outdated version. It's not compatible with Windows 11 (if that's what you're using), and getting less and less compatible with Windows 10, too. So problems are to be expected.
Now, that's not to say that it can't run on those systems, only that it's not officially compatible with them.

Because of that Adobe will not be much help to you, I'm afraid.

I recommend you try installing all available updates to it (up to 11.0.23) and maybe run it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7 or 8. See if that helps sort the issue.
