I have searched and only found answers to set the default zoom for a specific file. I want to set Acrobat so that it opens ALL files to the exact same zoom level. Opening a file so that it is zoomed in 250% each time is a pain and it seems that changing the default zoom level changes it for only that specific document. There has to be a setting somewhere that set the default zoom for Acrobat the program to open ALL files to the same zoom level across the board.

Hi,
Assuming that Default Layout and Zooming is not a pre-flight customized profile nor a setting that was saved in/with that PDF , there are two preferences settings that may work:

Dear Everyone,
I just found the fix to do that with Adobe Tech Support. When you see the dropdown menu after going to preferences/page display, you have to manually type in the percent zoom you want. The dropdown box allows you pick from it or to manually type it into the box. Click the box and manually type in the percentage without the % sign and it will set the default zoom level. The tech agent also said that this happened on his end too. So he confirmed that he was going to report it to the engineers.
