Set recent files list in Acrobat Pro DC to zero

I need to prevent users from seeing recent files. I know that you can manually open  Preferences>>Documents and set "Documents in recently used list" to 0 but I have to set this for 200 users and all future deployments.

The Preference Reference and other posts in this community suggest that I set:

iMaxMRUCntToBeStored to 0

under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\AVGeneral

I have done this but Acrobat continues to display Recent files.

Has anyone actually solved this?

Hi @just_a_human_14,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.

I tried the same workflow, and it worked for me.

The only additional step that I had to do, was to log out of the application and log back in.

Let me know if that works for you too.
