shared document - participants can only edit/fill out assigned parts

Hello,

I want to create a document where multiple people should edit / fill out an assigned part. But I don't want them to be able to edit other parts of the document. In specific: At our school we want to create a list where teachers can fill out whether students participated in certain activities. But I don't want all the teachers to be able to edit or fill out everything. At the end there should be a list of all students where one can see which activities he or she participated in

How do I do that? Or which app or tool would be the best one to use?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

LG

Hi @Teacherwithpassion

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

When adding fields to your agreement, it is important to assign each field to a recipient. The field assignment determines which recipient is allowed to interact with that field, to the exclusion of all others. For detailed information about how to, please go through the help page:https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/assign-form-fields-to-signers.html
