Shared documents aren't sharing; getting error message that document has been deleted when it hasn't

Community Beginner ,

We're getting (as a team) the following error message when receiving confirmation in Adobe Acrobat that a PDF has been successfully shared. We're able to get the shared link, post it, but when others click the link to review the cloud document they receive the attached message. Usually the only way we can resolve it is to communicate to the owner that the document share didn't work and to try again.

This isn't a viable long term solution as it's happening to the entire team, and we're a fast moving marketing and creative team that needs a smoother workflow. Also, this didn't used to happen. ideas on how to fix it permanently?

Hi Katiescu,

Thank you for reaching out.

The error message generally appears when the document is unshared or deleted by the document's sender.

Could you please confirm the steps you are taking to share the document? Ensure that the original document is available to the user and no changes are made at his end after sharing the document.

It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording of the workflow.

If using a desktop application, share the Acrobat and OS version numbers.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
