I updated to version 24.2 yesterday and since then I have been unable to share PDFs via a link. When I click the 'Share' button the dialog box just contains a load of glitchy stuff (see below) and no options appear. How can I fix this problem? Thanks in advance

Hi Dan, I'm also having this issue with the share sheet in Acrobat, did you get any resolution to your issue?

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this.
Do you experience this behavior with all the files you try to share? Did you start experiencing this behavior after the recent update?
Please share a small video showing the steps to share the file. Also, let us know if the file used to share is saved locally or on the cloud. Share the Acrobat and OS versions that are in use.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,
This happens on most of our team's Acrobat installs. We're on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, with Acrobat Pro version 2024.002.20964, M1-M3 processors and the share panel does this with both on-cloud and local files which haven't been uploaded.
This happens immediately after pressing the share button or selecting share from the file menu, so a video won't show any more information than the above screenshot. The issue is sporadic though for example my share sheet is back to normal now after a couple of restarts, but resetting permissions, reinstalling Acrobat and all the usual troubleshooting steps don't seem to fix the issue.

I've been away for a fortnight, it seems to have sorted itself out!

A colleague just gave me what appears to be a solution for this problem. If, like me, you are using a laptop with a second monitor make sure the PDF you want to make a hyperlink from is open on your LAPTOP screen, not the secondary monitor. Strange though this sounds, it appears to fix the issue.

Can confirm this works for me, and once open, it seems to open correctly on the external too.
