I was wondering if there was a way to disable a signature causing the whole document to flatten after saving. I have a form that is saved at one point with a signature and is opened later on. Both times the form needs to be fillable.

Yes, it would. It's not possible to do it using the Sign Yourself feature. You must use a digital signature field for that.

After investigating a little further I have found an answer my original question. My next question, is there a way to limit the form fields from all being locked to just fields that were edited/filled out?

You would need to create a custom script to do it, but yes, it should be possible.

What we be required in the script? I feel I must also add that we are using the sign yourself signature and placing it on just a line. I'm not sure if that would change things.
