I have a user who has Adobe Acrobat Pro installed but is unable to send documents for signature. Each time they try and send a document they receive the following error.

COULD NOT SEND

You are not authorized to send documents for signature

The product has been removed and reinstalled to no avail and the user also gets the same message when logging on to another device.

Hi colin2799137876rq,

Thank you for reaching out.

We have checked your account with the email address used to sign in here in the community.

It seems that your subscription is expired. Please confirm if you use the same email address to sign in to the application.

Are you using the desktop application or the Acrobat Online account to send the document?

It would be helpful if you could share more information so that we can help you with the correct workflow.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

The user account in question is not for me its is for an employee named s.ashley@bury.gov.uk - she should have the correct license but unfortunately it will not her send documents for signature.

Hi colin2799137876rq,

Thank you for sharing the information.

We have checked the account and see that the user has Acrobat Pro DC as a part of the End term license agreement provided by your organization. Adobe Sign individual has been removed from the Acrobat Pro DC in ETLA offers.

For more information, refer to the following help page: https://its.unc.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/337/2020/06/FAQ-RemoveSignIndividual-6.4.2020-External....

Hope that answers your question.

Note: Please do not share the email address or personal information on public sites.

Marking a reply or response “Correct” will help future users with the same issue quickly identify the correct answer.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

We have hundreds of users who have Adobe DC Pro and they call all request E-Signatures so why this one individual cannot is totally beyond me. Surely there must be something wrong at your end when s.ashley@bury.gov.uk signs in to that account?
