Within Adobe Acrobat (in the Prepare Form tool), is there a way to have specific fields hidden until a signature is filled out?

EX: Employee can fill out a form and submit it, once reviewed by a Supervisor, the Supervisor signs the requested Signature Field and as a result: Hidden Fields are made visible to the Supervisor and they can fill them in.

Hi James,

Thank you for reaching out.

As mentioned above, the fields need to be visible to fill in once the supervisor adds the signature. Would like to inform you that once the document is digitally signed and saved, it is not possible to make the changes to the document after that.

If you hide a field while preparing the PDF form using the Prepare Form tool, there is no option to make the form field appear on its own once the document is signed. However, you may check if the script may help achieve the workflow you are looking for.

Would you mind elaborating on the workflow you are looking for? Also, please let us know how exactly you will be sending the document. Is it via the Acrobat Sign/ Request signature feature in Acrobat?

Thanks,

Meenakshi
