I've created a PDF Files through In-Design. But as it seems it loads a little slow. Optimizing by reduzing size doesn't seem to work. What possibilities are there to be able to scroll through the file faster. thx

Hi Yokai,
My quick answer is I don't have a clue but the one question I have for you is if you take a different document, about the same size with about the same kind/type of content, does it scroll any faster/slower?
With your answer can you also supply which version of InDesign and Acrobat are you using and what is your OS and what release is it?

If pages take a long time to load the pages might be very complicated. For example we see this with architect's plans which have a huge amount of vector detail. File size is only a small part of the story; it's not like loading a JPEG. How exactly was the file made, what unusual things (for you, compared to other files) went in to it?

Thx to both replies.
InDesign CC14
One File was coded with PDF Library... that works fine, but was not done by me.
I did a Text translation, so I worked with the orginal files and then exported it...
I did combine PDFs (cover front and back) to the whole Body-PDF and tried "Optimizing", and also "make the file smaller" through Adobe Acrobat DC...
Front and Back Cover were implemented as Photoshop File and in a second try also as JPG File (to make it smaller). Both Versions were slow.

Are you viewing the file directly from your hard disk?
Van you say what slowness you see (eg I see part of page 1 immediately but the last part takes 2 minutes to appear)?

yes, from the hard disk.
It is mostly with scrolling through the file...
it loads not disturbingly slow... but when scrolling, it slows down and needs loading time.
Also by clicking through Up/Down.
I've got now a new file, that I combined through an online service... that works smoother. But still Problems while scrolling.
I just find it really strange, that I can compress the 40MB File through "official Adobe Files" down to 8 MB and still got this Problem.
