Hi. Windows 11 all patched up, Word 365 allpatched up, and Acrobat Pro 2024.003.2180 no updates to do.
I have about 4 dozen images in my Word doc. All have alt text added in Word.

When I use the Acrobat plugin to create a PDF, all but 4 of the images carry over the alt text correctly.

Four of the images lose their alt text going to PDF. How do I make it so all the images have the alt text from Word? What's going on? All images are PNGs.

Thanks!

LATEST

I just had the same issue today, with all of the latest versions of Office 365 and Acrobat Pro. The Acrobat plugin would not carry over alt text on images that have a "line" border around them. This occurs if using "Create PDF" from the Acrobat ribbon and when using File, Save as Adobe PDF.

The only method that preserves the alt tags for images with a line border for me is File, Save As (then select PDF as the extension). As I understand it, this menthod relies on MS Word to do the conversion instead of the Adobe plugin.
