Trying to send a PDF for e-signature but keep getting the error "Some miscellaneous error has occurred". Have done this numerous times in the past without issue! Uninstalled Adobe DC and reinstalled and same issue. It's on the latest version.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Would you mind sharing the version of the OS and the application you are using? Please make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20117 (Win), 22.1.20112 (Mac) Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you try to send for signature? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

You may also try to request signatures via document cloud https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal

I have also gotten this error recently. The error seems to be related to the email of someone outside of the office that I am including in the Adobe Sign distribution. When I eliminate the email, I am able to move to the next step without issue. However, I’ve confirmed that the off-campus person’s email is valid, and I was able to send a different document to another off-campus person and didn’t have any trouble. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat to see if that would resolve the issue, but to no avail. The error happens whether I use the desktop version or the cloud.

Hi there, was this issue resolved?  I am receiving the same error message related to one person's email within my organization.

Regards,

Melinda

No, not yet. I am waiting for a resolution from our IT department and thought I would post on here while I wait to see if Adobe could offer some help.

Hi @Melinda25253046xc8l

Is this an issue with a specific PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. Also, try to request signatures via Document cloud https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ and see if that works for you.
