I receive adobe acrobat pdf files from many companies for mailing 8.5x11 documents.  Is their a way to sort these pages within the single pdf according to the zip code in the mailing address on the page to make the mailing process easier, rather than hand sorting them after they are printed?  Thanks for any help that you can provide.  Tim

If the text in them is machine-readable (ie. not just a scanned image) and there's a consistent way of identifying the zip code on each page, then yes, that should be possible using a custom-made script.

I've developed many such tools in the past for my clients, so if you're interested in hiring a professional to create it for you feel free to contact me privately by clicking my user-name and then on "Send a Message".

Hi,

could you share a few (fictive) pages to look where are located the zip code and if it's a real text?
