The split feature doesn't work well since the redesign. First, it always defaults to 2 pages, which is annoying. Second, I tried adding split to the quick access toolbar because this is a feature I use constantly, and the button literally does nothing. Anyone know if there's anything that can be done or if Adobe is working on fixing this? I can't stand the redesign.

Sorry to hear about your experience.
We encourage you to continue working with Arcobat's latest UI. Switching back to the old UI is not a permanent solution and will not work in the long run. Introducing a simpler and more intuitive experience for Acrobat desktop makes it easier to view content and perform your everyday actions on the PDF.
Some tools have been restructured and repositioned for a better user experience.
You can customize the quick tool following the steps mentioned below:

Hope this helps!
Thanks,

Yes, as I said above. I DID customize the quick access toolbar to add the split button, and I repeatedly clicked on it and nothing happened. Literally did exactly what you pictured above. The button is not functional. I need to split many pdf docs daily. I will use the old one unless you can fix the many glitches with the new design. It is not user friendly, and apparently some features do not work at all.

Yeah, that doesn't work either. Such an annoying thing. I had hoped this would be fixed at each upgrade, but nope!

Has this been addressed yet? The "answer" provided is a generic response that effectively ignores the specific question. Can we add "Spreadsheet Split" to the quick access bar or not? It appears that we can't. If so, how can we. I for one now how to add items to the toolbar. The issue is that I can't find this item so that I can add it.

Hi @Joel Wasinger,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your trouble with Acrobat.
I was able to add the split tool to the quick action floating toolbar. I had to click the three dots> customize toolbar> click on split> add (screenshot of the result added for reference).
Is this not what you see when trying to do the same? If not, would you mind letting me know what you see for better understanding and assistance?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Souvik.
