Split the files with retaining hyperlinks

I try to split the pdf files retaining the hyperlink, but it does not work.

For example, if I split the single file into 3 different files (file-1, file-2, file-3), the link between files does not work. How can I solve this problem?

There's no easy way to do it. The links will have to be adjusted to account for the new file-names and page numbers.

This will require a custom-made stand-alone application (or maybe a plugin).
