Hello,

I am getting a book published and my publisher provide PDF pages of my book with two columns per page.  Is there a way to splt those columns to separate pages?  Thanks.

No.

Acrobat is a digital printing of what it was supposed to print. While there is some minor editing capability (e.g., correcting the spelling of a name, etc.), it is not a word processing application nor a page layout application.

So think of getting a book that is two columns and wanting each column to be a separate page.

To get what you want, it would have to be set up like with one page each column at the time of PDF creation.

Sorry

Yes, if the two columns are separated straight down the middle of each page.

You can do it using this (paid-for) tool I've developed: http://try67.blogspot.com/2009/09/split-pages-in-2-parts-and-combine-to.html

Be advised this is not an ideal solution, though. It would be much better to contact the publisher and ask them to re-create the file in the correct layout.
