Stuck in email draft when sending PDF in email

• Adobe pro purchased only a few months ago. When I click to email the PDF I'm working on it attaches to a new outlook email as it should. The problem is I'm "stuck" on that email draft. Sure,  I can hit the X to close & delete the draft. But if I try to click on another screen or anywhere else it gives me a chime noise and won't let me. It's horribly annoying especially if I want to attach another PDF or cut and paste something from another email or document or anything for that matter. I find it limiting and causes extra steps. I've been saving the pdf's then opening a new draft and attaching it, but that's a handful of extra steps, surly there's gotta be an easier way. I'm a previous nitro user and found I'm struggling to get used to adobe, nitro was a bit more user friendly.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
