Submit interactive fillable PDF won't work in Facebook

I have created a working fillable PDF with a submit button pointed at an email address.  I want to post it in our Facebook group so members can complete it and send it in.  However, it won't work from Facebook.  It will work if I email the form to the member, but I'd rather not have to email them all.

Is this possible?

Browser based PDF viewers do not properly implement the PDF specification. And they especially don't implement interactive features. So in general, never open an interactive PDF file on a browser or mobile device.

So, are you saying that it can't be made to work on Facebook?

It has nothing to do with Facebook. FB just sends the command to download the PDF file to the browser, which then decides what to do with it based on the user's preferences. The same will happen if the file is opened from any other website.
