subscription cancellation after a year period

Hi
I have subscribed in Adobe acrobat, and now I have almost a year and a half paying the subscription fees.
Now for a rarely use, I want to cancel the subscription, but it asked for a cancellation charges!
The plan was for a year and I have passed that year paying the monthly fees, and the terms was to stick for the plan for the year, so why it asked for charging cancellation in the 2nd year?
