Hello, I created a PDF from an RLD and when I open it, it substitutes Gotham Bold. I know I have the existing font since the file was created on that computer. Any help would be much appreciated. There are other Gotham family fonts in the file that are fine, it's just Gotham Bold...

Hi Ryan ma

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to use the Gotham Bold font in a PDF form and the application substitutes that font.

Please check the following preference settings and see if that works for you. Go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Page Display > Under Rendering, Uncheck 'Use local fonts' > Click OK

If it doesn't work, it may be a possibility that though the font is available on your system but you do not have the rights/permission to use that font. For more information about font embedding and substitution please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/pdf-fonts.html

Hope it will help

Regards

Amal
