Subtract 2 different dates to get some ones current age.

I have a fillable form where I input a persons age.  How can I make this form calculate the persons age from their date of birth.  I have added a field that calculates todays date automatically.  I have tried a simpel Today - DOB but am not getting an number. I am getting NaN as my result.  Any help would be great.
