When I convert my MS word documents to PDF some of the lines around my table boxes disappear when zoomed in. I have performed some research and have tried adjusting a few settings, for example 'enhance thin lines', but unfortunately I am not having much luck.
I don't understand why this randomly happens (not on every table or every file I convert). I have attached a snapshot of one example. This happens when I am zoomed out at less than 100%, this snapshot was taken at 73.4%.
Any suggestions as to what settings I should be looking at adjusting to fix this annoying issue. Please note that the MS documents I work on have been developed for web accessibility and have strict locked-down templates, so having to change the line width on the tables is not an option as I would have update the master template. The MS word versions are all fine and look as they should, it's only when I convert them to PDF for web publishing, I am having the issue.
Anyones help is most appreciated.

Hi carlie_7679,
Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.
Please let us know the application used here to convert the file to PDF. Could you share the steps you take to convert the file?
Please share a sample of a Word and a PDF file in which the issue occurs. We want to test those files.
Also, share the application and OS version on the machine. It will help us to replicate the behavior in the same environment.
Feel free to let us know if you need any help.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hi Meenaskshi,
Many thanks for your prompt reply. I have attached a copy of the MS word copy of the document and the PDF copy (pages 20 and 29 of the PDF copy is where you can see the line around the notes box disappears when zoomed out). The steps in which I take to convert to PDF are the 'file > save as' PDF. We can only use this function as it is the best way to keep all web accessbility critera within the MS word document. Other functions such as the built in ones within MS word, i.e. 'Convert to PDF' do not work.
The OS version on the Machine is Windows 10, although we will be upgrading to Windows 11 within the next couple of weeks.
I hope this information helps with your investigation.
Many thanks
Carlie

Hi Meenakshi,
Have you had any luck with my files and working out why the lines within my tables sometimes dissappear?
Many thanks
