Taskbar Management - Closed Files Won't Go Away

Using Acrobat version 2025.001.20756 on Windows 11 23H2

When I open multiple files and close one, all of the items are still stuck on my taskbar showing as open. Ie, I can't remove any of the items from my task bar unless I close every file and the whole application and start over.

If I have my taskbar mirrored across multiple displays, this problem goes away.  But in an ideal world, I want to keep my taksbars separate for each screen.

Any ideas?  My office tech support has tried to re-install multiple times.

I shoudl add that I have the program set to "Open documents as new tabs in the same window" so there should never be multiple items on the taskbar anyhow

Also, please try updating the application to the latest version. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Check for updates. You may refer to the following help page to know more about the updates: https://adobe.ly/437ayUr. Check if that helps.
