Hi @Phillip31934594tp07

Thanks for reporting this to us, and we are sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience.

When you say Text boxes, we assume you are adding to a text box using the Edit Tool.

Tried the same, but the issue is not reproducible in-house.

Please try a couple of steps suggested below and see if that works.

1- Close the document and Acrobat entirely and reopen it.

2- Check with another file, as it could be a file-specific issue.

3- If you are still unable to drag it, disable the following preferences setting for testing:

Navigate to Acrobat> Menu>Preferences (Ctrl+K)>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Start-up," "Protected View," and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat. [Windows only]

If everything is in its place, but you are still experiencing the same issue, then.

Please share a screen-recording or video clip to understand the issue better.

Thanks,

Akanchha

It's this one, if you can see the attachment.  It's called add text comment.  I pulled it up by going to the search box.  Funny thing is that I don't even know how to get this toolbar to appear without guessing search words.  What are the steps to bring up this toolbar?  I used to know before the updates.

You can go to "all tools" located top left, then "Edit a PDF."  It gives more options than the add text that you're looking at, but I'm still having a problem navigating it, too.  I might like it once I get used to it, but as of now definitely not a fan.  😕😕
