text boxes

I am trying to change the font in a text box but it sometimes changes back to auto. Some boxes stay at 8 and other default to auto. All of the left hand side works but only some on the right side

i have no clue whats going on

After making the change to the Font Size, click the Close button in the dialog. Do not close the Properties dialog via the "x" button or by clicking onto another field directly.
