Text Call Tool Out Vanished

Why has the text call out tool vanished from the comments menu????

And more importantly, why can't I get it back?

When I go to customise tools, the buttons to add the tool back in are greyed out.

It is stupid things like this that makes users angry.   We are busy and don't have time to waste trying to fix problems created by Adobe.

@AndMcT the Text Callout usually lives in the Comment tools and can disappear when a document is protected, the app is in a limited mode (Reader or a restricted review), or the toolbars have been reset; try this quick checklist: make sure you’re running Acrobat (not just Reader) and the document isn’t secured or fully signed, open Tools > Comment and check the Comment toolbar is visible, use View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Reset Toolbars to restore missing buttons, try adding it to the Quick Tools from the right-side Comment toolbar menu (if still greyed out, sign out of Acrobat and sign back in, then run Help > Repair Installation and restart the app)
