Text in Acrobat automatically crooked, cannot fix!

Hello,

All I was trying to do was to type in a pdf document. However, the longer the line of text got, it started sloping upwards all by itself. I tried using the "turn" feature on the text box to try and straighten it out, but it only made it slope in the opposite direction. Also, many of the normal functions are not working as expected. I uninstalled, and reinstalled, but no luck. Additionally, the document will not save correctly. I tried the help/look for updates, but it says there aren't any. Windows 11, 64 bit, Core i7 Dell. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Actually your screen shot looks to me as if the text is straight and the graphical line underneath has a downward slope.

Agreed. If you've added that line using the Line commenting tool hold down Shift while drawing it to make sure it's a straight line in a (multiple of) 45 degrees angle.
