Text keeps jumping and cannot edit

New Here ,
Nov 23, 2018 Nov 23, 2018

I am trying to edit text in a text box in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

I can highlight the text but to do so my cursor must be a few lines above the text I want to select.

When I do make any changes the text jumps in the box and I cannot preposition it.

All I want to do it delete one line of text and save the new document.

Any help would be great

This really isn't a topic associated with Type & Typography but rather of text editing in Acrobat. Moving this thread to the Acrobat Editing & Exporting PDFs forum.

It might be because the text has a baseline shift that has moved the text up from its normal baseline, or it could be superscript text, or it could be a monitor resolution issue, it could even be duplicated text. Hard to say without seeing the PDF file.

When trying to re-position the text, do you see a bounding box when you select the text box, like this?
