Hallo zusammen!

Vielen Dank!

Are you referring to a text field? If so, what option is selected under Font Size in its Properties?

If not, then what are you referring to, exactly?

Now, when you describe the text field, the font simply gets smaller if the text is larger than the field allows. However, I would like the field to adapt to the text. Unfortunately, there is no customization option.

Not possible, at least not without a very complicated script (and even then it's not perfect).

Is it possible with another Adobe version?

Not really. To do something like this in a PDF file is only possible with a very special kind of file, but you can't create that file in Acrobat, nor can you use it anywhere else beside Adobe Acrobat or Reader. You will just need to create a field big enough to hold the text you want to input into it.
