I am trying to install Acrobat XI on my Win 7 64 Bit PC. When I do the install I get Error #1310 error writing to file: MSVCR90.dll. I have run the abobe cleaner, unregistered/registered, unistalled all adobe acrobats, re-installed C++, run as Admin user, and rebooted more times than I can count. I triple verified XI will run on Win 7.
Yet I still get the dreaded #1310 error when trying to install XI.
Any out of the box idea's?
Cheers!

Hi Klad,
I tried that fix 4 times. There was no Adobe directory at C:\programfiles\Adobe...
Next I rebooted and tried to install but still got #1310 error.
Next I rebooted and with my Super Anti Spyware turned off tried again but still #1310 error
I did the same for my Peerblocking software but always #1310 error
Under C:\Programfiles, C:\Program files (X.86), and C:\Program Data - there are no instances of Adobe Directories
Any other Idea's?
Thank you,
Fred

what's the error message?

The error message is Error #1310 error writing to file: MSVCR90.dll. A pop up when writing files to disk. I downloaded another zip of Acrobat XI and it seemed to install correctly and updated. Perhaps something got corrupted in the installer with the #1310 error. I am good for now. Thank you for your help!

for others, post the full error message. eg, the path to that dll should be in the error message.
