There was a problem installing acrobat error code 136

Hi there,

Almost tried everything on here but still nothing has changed.

Can not download the acrobat from creative cloud.

Alper, sorry you are encountering Error 136 while installing Acrobat through the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application. Have you downloaded and installed any other applications through the Creative Cloud desktop app successfully?

 

Information on how to resolve Error 136 can be found at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-logs.html#error136

 

Once you have downloaded the installation files, you can then begin installing Acrobat locally on the computer. 

 

Do you maintain and manage the computer and network that you are installing Acrobat on, Alper? What operating system is installed on the computer?

Hi Jeff,

I am currently using Windows 11. Actually I installed acrobat without no problem like a week ago but tried to reinstall again due to some problems. Now I can not download from Creative Cloud app. I will try to download from the link right now. Thanks!

Ok, thanks for the update, Alper. If you continue to encounter problems, check the settings for the software firewall, and confirm it allows full access to the Creative Cloud desktop app.

I checked the access settings, its all set. I can download the acrobat and it's all good now. Just curious about the error:136. Why I can not download from the Creative Cloud? or what should I do to download it? One last question. Is it the pro version or normal version of adobe acrobat?

I'm having a similar problem, except the exit codes are 7 and 1603. Errors DW071 and DW003 are also listed in the log. This happened after I was forced to uninstall Acrobat when it began malfunctioning badly on any pdf I tried to open (freezing and generating an unexpected display).

Log file output below.

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR: DW003, DW071 ...
