Total Ink Coverage

Hi,

I would like to know what is the default value for Total Ink Coverage for commercial printing industry. It should be below 296%, 300% or 310%. Please advise.

Black texts must use 100% black ink (and 0% of CMY) and must be overprinted.

There is no default. It is a completely different value for newsprint versus coated paper, versus cardboard packaging, versus vinyl signs... We often get this sort of question, because people don't like the idea of asking the printer, but the answer is "ask your printer".
