Hi

I am trying to transfer an Adobe 8 license to a new computer.  My old computer has crashed so I cannot deactivate the old license.  When trying to activate on my new computer it gives me an error code 159:41 then says to retry over the internet ... which doesnt work.  It also gives the option to activate over the telephone but the telephone numbers dont work.  I have tried the Chat but they say it is old and no longer supported so wont help.  I have a serial number and I have customer ID number.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This will not be possible. To get Acrobat 8 running it needs to connect to an "activation server". These were turned off a few years ago. I don't say this is a good situation.

Thanks for your response Legend ... As you say not a good situation and not what one would expect from a reputable supplier.
