Hello everyone,
just created an account, i am from an IT team in a company.
We have a user with an old Adobe Acrobat on her old computer, and so we wanted to transfer the license to her new computer.
We even used the software Belarc Advisor to retrieve the key, because the box was lost since a long time.
Thanks to this software, we retrieved the 24 digits key, but it wasn't usable anymore to re-install the software... (yes we still had the installation files, but not the key)
So i found this https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/transfer-product-license.html to transfer the key, but it ask to get a case number before beginning the transfer...
I have a hard time finding the link to get a case number, can anyone help me on this ?
Thanks.
Marc.

Transfer of a serial number doesn't mean installing it on a new computer. It means changing its owner...
If you have the full S/N and the installer then just install the application on the new computer and enter the S/N when prompted. Hopefully you remembered to deactivate the old computer. If not, and you still can, do so (via the Help menu of Acrobat). If your activations ran out you'll need to contact Adobe directly and ask for them to be reset, which is often problematic because this version of Acrobat is no longer supported, so the service reps tend to refuse to do anything about it, but you have to insist, or you won't be able to use it at all.
You should also know that this version is no longer compatible with any current Mac systems, and getting less and less compatible with each new version of Windows 10, so problems are to be expected. Make sure to install all available updates after the initial installation and try running it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7.
