Transferring Saved Passwords under Security Policies to a New Computer

I have saved passwords under Security Policies (under Encrypt) in Adobe...and I want to transfer these saved passwords to a new computer.

I found the following online:  https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/DigSigDC/migrating.html.  BUT that didn't work.  It transferred the policies for each person for whom I have a saved password, BUT it did not transfer the passwords also.  Basically the saved password was blank after I transferred.

Help!  How can I accomplish this so the security policy WITH the saved password for each security policy under Encrypt can be transferred?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi @mbpros,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

As mentioned in the help article, For security reasons, acrobatsecuritysettings files do not carry the digital ID passwords. Before you can use any of the digital IDs you just imported, you must log in to each ID. You can do it now or later.

So basically I can export the security settings, import them, but then I have to set up the passwords all over again on the new computer, correct?  Would be nice if they could be shared across my account.

@mbpros,

Completely understand your point. But, that is blocked due to security reasons.
