I am filling out a form in Acrobat for Mac. I had to compose a text in Mac's NOTES (because I am disable and the voice command would not work in the "Fill" mode in Acrobat. After composing the text, I copied and pasted the text to the space where I needed it to appear in the PDF. The text ran off the page. So, I tried positioning the cursor at points to add a hard return (hell, for someone with poor motor skills). Matters got worse because as I tried to move the cursor to the correct placement in the text to add a hard return, the program would freeze and the "Force Quit Applicartions" of my Mac indicated that Acrobat was no longer responding. I have an iMac with a 3.6h 8-core intel core i9 processor with 64 GB of memory and a two TB hard drive.
Why is this not working properly? And, more importantly, what can I do to resolve this problem. I need to send a PDF federal form, and I cannot finish placing hard returns in the document. Acrobat has frozen uo.

@Paul Arpaia How frustrating! Are you able to edit the form at all? Tools > Forms > Edit. If so, you can change the field’s properties to allow for text wrapping. Right click on the field to bring up the Properties box and then go to Options tab. See if that works!

Thanks. I’ll give it a try (tomorrow). I had to give up for now.
