turn off auto reading when clicking Edit

Hello,

I want to turn off auto-converting whenever I hit the Edit tool.

I just want to crop pages. I don't want to wait for Acrobat to auto read the page and consolodate fonts, and re-orient the page, etc. I just want to be able to select the Edit tool, then crop the page without having to wait 30 seconds for every document.

Where can I turn off the auto-convert function when I hit the Edit tool?

Thank you

Ryan

I should add that clicking the X doesn't do anything.

See if turning off automatic OCR helps.
