turn off tabs feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.006.20320

Hi, I'm currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.006.20320. I would like to turn off the tabs feature and open multiple pdfs side by side. In a previous version the tab function could be turned off under "Settings" "General". Now I can't find this option anymore. What to do?
Thanks a lot
Bernd

In other words, "You can't anymore, but we might let you do have that feature again some time in the future?"

If there was, nobody told me about it. I'm still just manually separating the tabs by dragging them off to the side. Still hate the new tools and menu arrangement, too, but I guess when you're the first to make it big in a field and become a monopoly, you get to do whatever you want regardless of customer feedback. The only (sort of) alternative I know of is Microsoft Edge, which is somehow even worse.

There may be a way to get back to an older version of the software itself, but unfortunately, my company's IT team handles all of that sort of thing, so I don't know anything about how to do it.
