Two Taskbar Icons When Dragging to Second Monitor

I have multiple monitors connected to my computer.  When I open a PDF, it opens on a montior and there is one taskbar icon.

As soon as I drag the program to another monitor, I get two taskbar icons, like this...

Is there a way to fix this?

Well, it didn't last really long. The only workaround right now for me is to repeatly restart 'Explorer.exe' from Task Manager.

Sorry for the troubling experience.

If you're talking about a hidden taskbar item, I would like to mention that this is a known issue that is currently being worked on.

I just checked and the double task bar icon issue is not happening with Adobe Acrobat 2025.001.20756 and Windows 24H2 OS Build 26100.6901, at least for now.

December 2026, I'm having this issue. I guess Adobe Acrobat isn't PhotShop. $$$$$
