Unable to activate Acrobat Pro Plugins ver 25.xxx.xxx

In learning using the Accessibilty feaure in Acrobat Pro I have discovered the possibility I am missing some features. In trying to activate "MakeAccessible.api" which is showing not loaded. Then I go over to Preferences tab and discover an item possibly missing from this menu as well. Then I check the Windows/New Workspace  and this is not an option.

I have also explored trying to use the CC app to install updates.

Running in Legacy mode, although have also tried the New version of Acrobat Pro.

May be I should try remove and re-install as a last resort. However, just wanted to see if this is the norm for AA Pro?

Thanks

Was able to contact an Acrobat Tech support on this issue. In the past always gave great kudos to the Acrobat team on the indepth documentation for AA Pro. However, I discovered all the plugins for Acrobat are third party. After reading the documentation on creating a new Workspace on the Windows menu inside AA Pro. When it was not there I contacted Adobe and was ran in circles by AI Assistant until finally reaching an Agent. After trying a few things I was informed "Workspace" is an addtional Plugin for AA. I have not seen this documented anywhere.

Hi there

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience.

We appreciate your kind words about Acrobat’s in-depth documentation and understand how frustrating it can be when expectations don’t align with what’s available.

The "Workspace" feature in Acrobat Pro is not a built-in function but rather an additional plugin, which is why it may not have been immediately visible in your setup. While Acrobat supports third-party plugins to extend its functionality, we understand the importance of clear documentation on these aspects.

Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll pass this along to our documentation team for review.

Amal

Amal;

Appreciate the response. Really was not frustrating that my expectations were not met. This is more centered around the lack of information and/or confusion on some of the AA Pro features. I have been using AA Pro for ~25 years. Over the years it always gave me everything I needed and more. I have also facilitated training and coached others using the AA. What piqued my curiousity was using the Accessibility features. This was one area I did not have to use in the past. When I started down this path I read the documentation and it was walking me through the procedures. This was from reading Adobe tutorials, watching videos on the topic. I discovered these were not on my version of AA Pro. I contacted Adobe to see if I had missed something along the way. Adobe Chat AI assistant works pretty well, but it was also claiming the same process to creating a new Workspace inside AAPro. After repeating the app I was using I finally asked for a human. They also ran through the process. We spend may be 20-30 minutes. They were going to remote in to assist. However, needed elevated privileges. Was after this we came to the conclusion Workspace is a third party plugin. The perception I developed in going through the lengthy process is the Chatbot and the Agent were not aware of the Workspace plugin. There are also some Plugins on the list in AAPro which I was not able to find in Market Place in CC. I then tried to suggest this be added as a new feature to AA. Would not allow me to post. Kept denying the password.  I try to stay abreast of the changes although semi-retired and do not use AAPro as much. Another great feature I used in he past was the Index and Catalogue. We dealt with volumes of documents and needed to search across multiple volumes. Now I see there is a Catalogue plugin? Appears the user has to install a plugin to have this feature available to them. Hope this is incorrect and this feature is still available. Was icing on the cake in my groups. Thanks for the dialogue.
