I have been working on a user's PC, and whenever trying to run a batch conversion I receive the error message: "An unexpected error occured. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF." The user is using Adobe Acrobat DC Pro on a Windows 7 machine. They are running Office 2013. I have tried uninstalling Adobe both normally and with the clean uninstall tool. I have also tried running as an admin, uninstalling and reinstalling office and converting blank files.

Hi Octopistachio,
You have mentioned above, when you do the batch conversion you get an error message.
When you say Batch conversion, do you mean converting multiple Word file to a single file?
Or you are using an action to convert multiple Word file to individual PDFs? Please share the exact workflow you do.
Please check what happens when you convert single files to PDF? Does it convert without any issues?
Share the Adobe Acrobat DC version you are using currently. Take help of the steps provided here Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
We will be waiting for your response.
Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Meenakshi,
The adobe version the user has is 15.006.30461. They are trying to convert multiple documents into their own individual PDFs. Converting a single word document yields the same results.

Hi Matt
Please confirm if your Acrobat is activated and EULA is accepted.
Can you provide the steps how you are creating the PDF from Word file? Is it from Acrobat > Tools > Create > PDF from File or from Create PDF button in Acrobat ribbon in Word application?
Is this a new issue that you are facing post update or was this happening earlier as well?
Also confirm the Office version is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
Thanks
Tanvi

Hi Tanvi,
The user is creating a PDF by using Acrobat > Tools > Create > PDF from File. It is a 64bit version of Office. The issue started occuring after a Windows 10 upgrade.
