Hello, Starting today, September 20, 2024, I am unable to use edit and then copy text in Adobe Acrobat Pro. This had been my sole reason for subscribing. Is this feature no longer available?
The text now appears as an image and the only way is to convert the entire file to Word or similar. I'd like to easily copy/paste a few lines here and there. The text converted easily to Word so it's not a matter of it being an image or not easily readable. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat!
Are you using a Scanned document, or is the file you are working with, an image file? This could be a major issue when trying to select text.
Have you tried running OCR on the document? This could help you make the document text searchable and editable.
You can refer to this document for more info: Scan documents to PDF, Adobe Acrobat
If this is not the case, please share a few more details for further investigation:
1. The app version of Acrobat you are working with;
2. The OS [Mac/Windows] and its version;
3. A sample file where you are experiencing the issue;
4. A screen recording of the issue for better understanding.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @Jamie36941827a80e Can you please share the pdf file to be able to investigate further. There are no known issues with text appearing as an image while editing in Acrobat. Also, please share information like OS, app version and screen recording if possible.
