unable to create link to pdf document in cloud

Community Beginner ,

Using Pro DC, I created a new pdf, then tried to click on the link icon to create a link to the document in the cloud, but instead of giving me a link, a blank box drops down. Just a few weeks ago, I was able to create links to documents and share them with no problem.

I ran "repair installation"  under the "help" dropdown. The "create link in the adobe cloud" function works now. Thank you.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to create link to pdf document in cloudand getting a blank drop down.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC and the OS you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing? A small video of the same would be very helpful.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...and see if that helps.

You may also try to create a new tet user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Also please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/links-attachments-pdfs.html and see if that works.

Regards

Amal

My OS is Windows 10, Google chrome is my default browser, and I run the most recent updated version of Acrobat DC. The help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/links-attachments-pdfs.html refers to links within a pdf, which is not the issue. The issue is creating a link to the document in the adobe cloud.

Attached file is a shot of what I'm dealing with:
