Dear tech team

I hope, Adobe Root CA was expired on 7th Jan'2023. So we are unable to do comment enable PDF from Acrobat Pro XI or from any lower version.

Only It is possible to do comment enable in Acrobat very latest DC Pro version. But while open it in Acrobat Reader X, XI, DC, we get some error message "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was..."). Only this error is not showing in very latest version of DC Reader version 2022.003.20310 (64 bit)

But we are expecting if we convert Comment enabled features in Acrobat latest version of DC pro then while open it in Acrobat XI or lower version (version 8 reader, version 9 reader ) we should not get above error. It is possible?

Please support. Our customer is not satisfied since they may have very old version Acrobat Reader like 8 or 9. So can you give any idea how to do comment enabled pdf to our customer?

Regards

Jayesh

Reader has to check the certificate. So it is entirely possible that all old versions of Reader will reject any old file. Maybe Adobe has killed this feature of old versions forever. They wouldn't care.

Try this:

Change the system clock before you use Acrobat.
